Marilyn And I laugh when we say, "He retired on Friday.  We got married on Saturday and a couple weeks later, we started off on a two and a half year honeymoon which covered Europe .  We lived in a little truck and every week or so I found myself writing about this dwarf who has changed my life forever, for the better.  This group of poems are about her.  On a larger scale it is about sharing, about maturing and learning for the first time that someone else is "more important than you are."

These are a selection of poetic efforts to explain the consequences of an artist abandoning his art and his efforts to get it back once he discovers that art is only too willing to beat him every single remaining day of his life.
